Accessibility Statement

Statistics Finland aims to ensure the accessibility of its web pages in accordance with legislation. The Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019, Finlex) fulfils the EU’s directive on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies in Finland.

This accessibility statement applies to the https://guides.stat.fi/vg2020 site that is the site for the Voorburg Group Meeting 2020 Helsinki. The site was published on 25 June 2020.

State of accessibility

The assessment of accessibility was carried out by Statistics Finland. The site largely meets the accessibility requirements. The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

Non-compliance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019, Finlex)

• Some pages on the site can be only reached through a link in the main menu.
• Materials of presentations that may have problems with accessibility will be added to the pages as PDF files.
• The registration form has accessibility problems in the following: the title of the page is not individual, the keyboard focus is not visible in the submit button, the language specification does not function correctly on the screen reader. The form is implemented with an external service provider’s service. We have submitted the development request to the service provider.
